Q. Is inpatient treatment also covered by health insurance?

A.

Yes, inpatient treatment at Korean medicine clinics is covered by health insurance. Acupuncture, cupping, chuna and other Korean medicine treatments received during hospitalization are also covered. For traffic accidents, auto insurance applies. The exact patient share will be explained at your visit.

📝 Detailed Answer

It does apply. Korean medicine inpatient treatment is also a subject of national health insurance.

However, the necessity of admission has to be recognised, and for non-covered items a co-payment arises separately.

In the case of a traffic accident or an industrial accident, it is processed not through national health insurance but through motor insurance or industrial accident insurance.

As the procedure and the documents needed differ according to which it is processed under, we confirm this at registration.

The scheme and criteria can change, so we explain on the current basis when you attend.
