A randomized controlled trial comparing Korean medicine combination therapy (acupuncture, Chuna, herbal medicine, pharmacopuncture) versus general physiotherapy in 86 patients with whiplash-associated disorder (WAD) over 8 weeks. The Korean medicine group showed 64% improvement in NDI (Neck Disability Index), significantly different from physiotherapy group (41%). Headache frequency also decreased by 73%.
