Summary
Heart rate variability (HRV) was analyzed before and after acupuncture in 62 TMD patients. After acupuncture, parasympathetic activity indicator (HF) significantly increased and sympathetic activity indicator (LF/HF ratio) decreased, with improved autonomic balance.
