Summary
Pain characteristics, psychological status, and Korean medicine pattern types were investigated in 178 patients presenting with temporomandibular joint disorder. Qi stagnation-blood stasis pattern was most common, and differences in concomitant symptoms and treatment response existed according to pattern type.
