Summary
A systematic review of 13 randomized controlled trials (total 1,124 subjects) evaluating the acupuncture effect for chronic pain caused by industrial accidents. The acupuncture group showed an additional average 35% reduction in pain scores, with a 42% decrease in analgesic use. Significant improvements were also confirmed in occupational function assessment.
