Summary

Twelve studies (892 subjects total) comparing bee venom pharmacopuncture with conventional acupuncture were meta-analyzed. The bee venom group demonstrated significant superiority in pain reduction with a standardized mean difference of -0.67 compared to conventional acupuncture.
