Summary
A literature review study analyzed the skin regeneration mechanisms of herbal extracts used in cosmetic pharmacopuncture. Evidence was presented that pharmacopuncture components induce skin regeneration through fibroblast activation, collagen type I and III synthesis promotion, and MMP inhibition.
