Summary

One hundred ten patients with plantar fasciitis were randomly assigned to an electroacupuncture group or an extracorporeal shock wave therapy group and treated for 6 weeks. Both groups showed significant pain reduction, with higher patient satisfaction in the electroacupuncture group.
